Extended Day Program
The Extended Day Program is quality after-school care for Lake Ridge Academy students in kindergarten through grade 8. Staffed by an experienced professional, this program offers reliable, responsible care in a safe and nurturing environment. The program provides care from the time school ends at 3:30 pm until parent pick-up or 6 pm. This service can be used daily or occasionally. If a child is not picked up from school by 3:30 pm, they will automatically go to Extended Day to ensure proper supervision.
Extended day gives children the opportunity for free play on the playground with friends as well as dedicated time to work on homework. Organized activities are also provided, including games, crafts, puzzles, drawing, painting, and Lego building. There may also be occasional cooking, computer use, or movies. A daily snack is provided.
