Offered asynchronously online, this LRA Faculty created and taught class helps students become health literate and prepares them to face the many health issues they will face in their everyday lives. This course is offered each semester in the US, but students who opt to take the class over the summer are able to remove this state-mandated course from their course load during the school year.
Students must have access to their own electronic device and be able to work with limited input from the instructor for the duration of the course.
This course will be offered through a virtual outside platform. A passing grade of C+ or higher is needed in order to earn academic credit for a student’s transcript.
